just had to be on my brand new Giant Advanced TCR road bike. The weather has not been good for road bike riding, so on New Years Eve afternoon I decided to just do it. The temps at ride time was 30, as per my new cycling computer with a temp function, something else to keep track of. The bike is really nice. I got in a whole 9 miles, riding down to Heartland Cycle just to see if Byron was in, but the shop was closed for the New Year's. I did have to dodge some ice on the roads, but they were actually not too bad. The road salt does concern me some riding on the racing wheels with the thin tires, but no flat today.
Tomorrow the plan is to do a road ride with some of the friends that ride in the summer, Ronnie I know wants to ride. Everyone have a safe New Year's eve, until next year...
